I like the idea but they should really be split up by field. Many of the big names I know are all working in some area related to Category Theory or Type Theory because those are my areas.

There's historically been a lot of bias (some of it cultural) though it seems to vary from country to country. Especially when talking to older female mathematicians it sounds like things used to be a lot worse back in the day and while they've improved there are still problems.
I know in our university our math department has been fighting the engineering department to do something about the endemic harassment of our female Math TAs by engineering students (not just comments or insults but groping and shit).
Also, stuff like the Olivia Caramello controversy makes me not want to do research in Topos Theory. I don't think she ever suggested she was discriminated against as a female but even if it that's not the case it's still a shitty situation to be in as a young researcher.
