why is it that all animals of a certain species have the same exact face, yet the human animal of the human species all have different faces, even in the same family!?

really makes you think, don't it?

>yet the human animal of the human species all have different faces
Is that why every race says every other race arr rook arike?
I mean my grandparents have had chocolate labs on their farm since before I was born, and they all look different inside of the parameters of dog-face and body style.
Also human faces are really good at non verbal communication so there's a good selection pressure for it.

they don't, there are subtle differences that you dont notice.

You only believe this because your brain is hardwired to notice the differences in human faces.

Unless you suffer from a legitimate disorder in which your brain actually can't do this. Sufferers have described human faces as basically being like those of dogs, cats, and other animals: They can tell that there are differences, but they just don't "stick".

They don't though you're completely fucking wrong. Different subspecies of animals can have pretty significant differences in outward appearance. You probably don't notice it because you aren't used to paying attention to those in the same way you are paying attention to differences in humans.

Are you blind? They don't. Even wasps and bees are able to recognize faces.

because we're evolved to socialize with each other not animals. animals within groups do look very different if you study them, like >>10195430
pointed out otherwise we wouldn't have keys to sort them by species or at least genera. That being said yeah we can't distinguish much but that's because there's no point to.

No! You have a bias toward distinguishing humans

Human faces look very similar to each other. We've been practicing our ability to distinguish faces ever since we were born.
