until the ai becomes very advanced we will probably have human/ai hybrid approaches where the human "doctor" (probably doesnt need the full training/or has specialized training) utilizes the ai for diagnosis but is still there for the human element

The human element is most important for considering unique cases or conditions with low statistics. Perhaps they will replace diagnostics, but we will always have the researchers around for the improbable cases.
