Evolutionary psychology is using evolution as a justification for your theories about psychology.

So it's still a social science.

Because saying that psychology happens because of chemicals in your brain doesn't make you a chemist.

if it's specifically evolutionary psychology as you stated, then it's a social science since it is the psychological interpretation of our instinct and human fitness. if you're examining actual patterns in human development, then it's an overlap between anthropology and evolutionary biology.
