No that's wrong. When people pretty much get things right in their scholarly reports, if they are lucky, others will point out their mistakes so they can fix them. For instance, Wiles' proof of Fermat's theorem famoulsy had an error in it that he fixed. This is normal but error free first drafts are abnormal in scientific writing.

You keep going on about the scientific method, but then you don't bother to make sure your results are reproducible.

Also, you are correct, Wiles had to do a complete reworking of his proof because of an error. However, what sets him apart from you is that he didn't claim his stuff was correct until others verified it. There are many examples of people who tried to prove something false, and then people showed them that they were false. What makes you think you aren't one of them?
