How about we talk about what is possible in our current generation. Lets say the next 40 years.

What would you like to (realistically) see happen in space exploration, medicine and in general?
(saw anon post this on another thread and thought it would be a good idea for a whole new topic)

Im with this guy. Investing time and knowledge into space mining and traveling is a bit futile without a proper computer technology

Yes , thats true , but that doesnt mean we should still invest a looooot more time and dedication to computer technology b4 even considering going to mercury and build a giant reactor or some shit like that

Since we are in the subject of human augmentation, I'm currently graduating on Telecom. Engineering and my main dream is to take a masters and phd on biomechatronics or nanotechnology (or something like that) and focus on creating neuroimplants that would augment the human mind and thus allow to communicate with others via Telepathy , or who knows, give us the hability to telekinesis (but i dont know, that looks even crazier than my telephaty dream).
So , does my main dream seems at least "plausible" in the next, lets say, +10 years?? Keep in mind that "dreams" are by definition , something impossible until you achieve it....
