>Two teens, one 14 and the other 13, attempted to break into Schur's car on July 6th. His car alarm went off and residents observed two people dressed in all black attempting to break into a car. Schur, who owned the vehicle, confronted them, but they sped away in another stolen vehicle
>Schur followed them and fired several shots at them, striking both of them, because as he initially told police, he had heard gunshots and thought that he was being fired upon although police didn't recover any other weapons from the scene.
