No, the climate has been changing since Earth was a hot ball of lava and gas.

Yes and no. We as a species are influencing the climate in many ways. (ie; altering atmospheric composition, depleting ground water, creating area covered in concrete, impeding wind currents near the surface, changing lakes/rivers, removing dense flora etc.) However, the climate would still change otherwise, just not in the same exact way.

In the end, it's better to be safe than sorry. Because the climate of an area is not something that can be fixed for a couple dollars over night.
