I'd like to contribute to the thread a little: I think that Geology majors are the spaghetti/pocket overlords when stuck in the middle of a science-buddy conversation, and I mean of all the goddamn jobs that'll be taken over by computers someday. Get one talking and not only will be not be able to keep up once someone wants to stop talking about goddamn volcanoes, but they are all terrible at picking up women too.

Newton didnt have the rigorous background when he manipulated incremental quotients. It seems strange that the simple concept of making things tend to zero in a quotient (in simple cases like polynomials where the 0/0 form cancels automatically) passed as unkown for centuries

In an ideal case, when wheels are rolling without sliding on a surface, the friction force becomes null. On the other hand, the engines of the plane are creating a force which we may assume constant. In consclusion it is impossible to have a balance of horizontal forces if the wheels are purely rolling, and the plane will inveitable hit those pillars.
