The problem with Psychology is that most papers published have insignificant or non-representative sample sizes, and then the media and a few idiot psychologists ignore that and treat this or that published paper as legitimate, usually with an ulterior motive.

If you can view psychology in its proper context, and evaluate papers on a case-by-case basis AS YOU SHOULD in any field of science, there's no problem.
