Science as it stands is just an effort to determine the laws by which our universe works. It is not true knowledge, it is just infering how shit works and seeing if it conforms to our reality.
True knowledge is to know WHY the laws are the way they stand as in WHY does our universe have such laws. How were they determined? And such question will probably never be answered because it escapes the field of experimentation.
So why do you try to science /sci/?

Because our galaxy is immensly huge (180 light year diameter), comprising a vast amount of stars (400 billion) and some of those harbor planets.
Its very likely that in some of those planets there are suitable conditions for life and the organic precursors.

Oh and there are something like 200 billion galaxies on the universe (observable) lol
