Fuck it /sci/, I need your advice
I'm going to university next year and I gotta decide on my major - a decision, that wanders around in my mind for the friggin' last two years. I'm stuck between physics and computer science.
Last year I attended a course at university in a program for "talented pupils" in physics, and I pretty much enjoyed it, although it was some boring classical mechanics.
On the other side, I also have a huge interest in computer science...I'm not meaning the "lol programming" stuff, but the process of information processing, algorithms and mainly automation, robotics and artificial intelligence...

This really does suck, 'cause if I choose one major I'll miss the interesting parts of the other one - things like minoring in one field won't really help, because I'll then only see the fundamental (boring) stuff of that field...

I'm sure some of you major in one of these fields and can tell me if they enjoy it or would've chosen another one if they were to choose again?

Thank you, come again

So, I wondered;
why are there so many "discussion" over whether field X is a science or not?
I mean, science is just a definition, is it benificial for anything to be able to call one's major "science"?
(I know, posting this on a board named "science" will get me lots of biased opinions, but since there's only trolling stuff going on at the moment, I'll give it a try)
