I found a way to stump the chemical rocket faggots of /SFG/!

Have you seen hit movie "Interstellar"? Of course you have, you are space flight enthusiasts. What is the core scientific/mathematical issue put forward in this movie and how does it apply to us in /SFG/?
>The problem of gravity
This is what I preach here on /SFG/, we can not and WILL NOT ever be a multi planet species until we solve the "problem of gravity". Which is the basic idea that when you start computing the amount of mass we must lift off the crust of the Earth to start one self sustaining colony in our solar system it's obvious chemical rockets won't work. Not for one colony and for sure not 100 colonies. So we must solve the problem of gravity and we KNOW via the rocket equation that it CAN NOT be done with chemical rockets. It's basic math, math so basic popular fiction even knows it and explains it with better skill and intelligence than you anons ever could. Sad really.

Now I'm not here to suggest we jump into a black hole to make anti gravity magic wands. I'm just pointing out the undeniable fact that everyone seems to know except the big brains of /SFG/. We will never colonize space with chemical rockets, not now and not in a thousand years. The idea of diminishing returns has been in effect for rocket flight for decades. Vanity projects like Starship show that you can't just build a bigger rocket and even if you do you're still slave to the rocket equation. The sheer insanity of people thinking a poorly designed and poorly constructed silver cock rocket is going to colonize space is astounding.

If chemical rockets can get us to space colonies why did they need to solve the problem of gravity in Interstellar?
