Nope. Anon Boards are the best form of unhindered discussion, the penalty is trolls and retards (stormtrolls for example make /pol/ fucking useless)

Any board that requires identity will inevitably involve ego, a bad answer once permanently renders all future answers as bad, additionally people feel they need to defend their positions because they have something personal riding on it well past the point where anything is gained by the discussion.

The troll meme (pic related) is so advantageous because it allows anons that have been proven wrong to melt back into the greater anonymous mass to await a topic they may be more knowledgeable. For instance I don't pretend to be a physicist but i occasionally post in physics threads but I lose nothing if I am mistaken.
