Where: Imperial College London

Why: Got rejected from Cambridge but accepted my Imperial, and It wasn't like Imperial was a huge step down anyway. +London and in particular South Kensington is an amazing place to live. Loads of things going on. Got Ronnie Scotts Jazz club not far from me in Soho, and Knightsbridge, so I can go and gawk at all the stuff that I can't afford in the mega expencive shops.

Major: Materials Science and Engineering

Satisfied: Yep. I still have to do plenty work for my course, but compared to the guys doing the hard core Sciences and Engineering disciplines, I defo do less. That gives me more time to fuck around and enjoy myself though, so I ain't mad in the slightest.

You think being good at math or knowing a bunch of facts makes you "smart"? Let me tell you something, you don't want to be "smart". Being "smart" sucks. You might make more money? What is "money"? It's worthless, just paper, everything around you is worthless. You place value on these things in your lives... they are what keeps you going. They are worthless. Your lives are pointless, I would advise you now to go find a drug dealer, buy an ounce of some good pot, and think for a good long time about your life. Devlin’s essays are long but I urge you to read them through, including his evisceration of Wendy Shalit, representative of those obtuse anti-porn crusading social conservatives and myopic “fourth wave feminists” who preach from a pulpit of willful ignorance, habitually missing the forest for the trees:
