I'm retarded, can someone with an understanding of orbital mechanics explain why this rocket can bring a greater payload to Lunar orbit than it can to geostationary orbit despite the moon being so much further away? Does it take more energy to get a perfect geostationary orbit as opposed to getting the delta-v for a lunar insertion? Somehow I find that hard to believe but I'm not an expert in this.
