The simple version is "particles" (like electrons) exist as a field of probable locations (think electron shells around an atom) until another particle interacts with it, then the field "collapses" and becomes a discrete particle.
Think of it like you are at a slot machine. You know the numbers are between 1-9 (the field or wave), but you don't know what the exact number will be until you pull the lever (interact with the particle).

Bullshit. Check the pretty scattered bar image on the second screen first and then the detector that checks which slits the electrons went through. The second screen will still look like pic related. Human observation has no effect on anything. The equipment used is simply interfering with the experiment if you’re getting different results.

Building an observation device ("double-slit observation device") to place in location where "energy" can be observed rushing by ("downward") in the form of a [redacted-1] is known to occur from observing patterns of turmoil at the bottom of the [redacted-2], in the form of waves.

What happens to the patterns of turmoil at the bottom of the [redacted-3] when the double-slit observation device is placed? Instead of this "energy" being observed in waves, it is now observed in particles "[redacted-4]". If we examine these particles, and where/when they register at the bottom of the [redacted-5], with footage taken with high-speed, specialized cameras, we can see that these particles appear to be making a decision, whereas when they are NOT observed with the double-slit observation device, they create general wave patterns, behaving as waves, not particles.

Before you throw me a lot of money and go off and pretend I'm about to explain the secrets of the universe, I'm going to give you the key, instead:

Those droplets aren't 'making a decision'. What do you THINK will happen if you place a large metal screening device with two slits for passage where water falls and measure it in high frequency? The observation of photons through this method is a hoaxster's funding trick. It's the same principles: "energy" being forced through one of two gates through artificial means and declaring it's making a choice.
