Questions on IQ tests are generally about finding which number or shape belongs in a given place. It sounds like in France, nobody knows what belongs where.

How about we pick out some animals that we suspect might have a way of communicating between themselves, and attempt to decipher it?

Might be a good way of practising in case we encounter an alien civilization.
