Apologies in advance, but /g/ was being completely unhelpful with this (too busy arguing over graphics cards and AMD vs Intel).

So there's a Dell laptop AC adapter in the lost and found drawer at work with the same connector as the one for my HP laptop.
The HP AC adapter has an output of 18.5V at 3.5A, while the Dell has an output of 19.5V at 4.62A.

Would this thing kill my laptop if I tried to use it?
