Hi, /sci/ I have a question.
I have a Science unit test tomorrow and I'm finishing the review now. So one of the questions is

"Balance each skeleton equation in the space provided. Ensure ALL work is shown! Identify the type of reaction given"

CaO(S) + H2O(I) -> Ca(OH)2(aq)

The things in brackets are subscripts but it wont let me put them (Except for OH lol)
Now my guess is it is a Synthesis reaction right?
But how do I balance it and what is a skeleton equation?

Pic unrelated
