Hey /sci/, I know you guys hate threads like this, but I need some advice.

I'm a sophomore math major and am doing well in my university's curriculum. I've had every intention of attending graduate school here when graduation time comes.

However, I recently got into computer science and really enjoy it. I've got excellent grades and recently won a programming competition. Although CS is declared as my minor, I'm heavily considering switching it to a double major.

My question is this: is it better to attend math grad school and finish a CS bachelors on the side, or to put off graduate school to finish a 2nd bachelors in CS?

With the first option, I stay my current course and graduate on time. The issue is with workload due to thesis, grad classes and upper level CS courses.

With the 2nd option, I get to spread out my remaining math courses and really dig into my other classes. I also have time to consider the option of CS graduate school. The downfall is obviously that I'll be in school for a lot longer time.

Anyone else experience this situation or have advice pertaining to it in some way?

I need some advice, /sci/. I'm typically a good student in chemistry, despite not really having much interest in it besides the pchem stuff. However, I dread doing labs. I just forget everything when it comes to thinking about how things should proceed in an experiment.

I made a fool of myself today in lab. I got assigned a new lab partner (old lab partner was a bro, did most of the work while I handled write ups and calculations) and definitely made a terrible impression. I couldn't read the numbers on the buret correctly because my goggles make my classes fog and are uncomfortable. I don't have anywhere-near steady hands, plus I just had minor surgery on my right hand about 3 weeks ago, so I don't have full mobility. This resulted me almost spilling the unknown acid all over the workspace and my partner grabbing it from me. To top it all off, I absentmindedly knocked a small beaker off the lab bench and broke right after finishing our 6th titration. Then when it came to calculations, my partner would barely communicate with me anymore, so I know there are going to be differences in our reports.

I don't understand /sci/. Why does chemistry lab have to be such a nightmare?

I'm an aspiring electrical engineer but I thought about something today that made me sad, If I continue my education will I be smarter than nikola tesla by the time I get my degree?
