he should have copied his post verbatim here. or linked to it.
his reformulation ITT makes no sense.

>Is there encryption OR hashing algorithms that are guaranteed to cycle through all possible options without repetition if you repeatedly pass the output of the algorithm as input?
>What do you computer science nerds call this property (in the general case, not just pertaining to hashing)?
a function that cycles through all members of a finite set is called a cyclic permutation

Anyone have any experience with/opinions on pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D in Computer Engineering? I'm weighing my options between those two or just going straight into the industry.

I'm about to be a senior, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Engineering, plus a minor in Computer Science.

Recently I've been thinking that I want to become more specialized in Computer Engineering, so I was considering doing my school's five-year plan to get my M.S. in CE, and then start working in the industry.

However, I also have the option of trying to get into a Ph.D program right after graduating, and going into research/academia instead of working in the industry.

Or I could just fucking start working instead. I'm not really sure what the best path is. Anyone have any advice or experience they'd be willing to share?
