I was able to take a quantum mechanics course (of course, only a first semester class in a sequence of 2 over the year. Taking more would have disrupted me graduating on time) and a mathematical physics class (which had topics in fuch’s theorem, geodesic deviation, legrende polynomials, etc) and greatly enjoyed my time, in addition to standard two semesters of freshman physics plus labs for requirements. Thanks for the book recommendations!
