But to make in an actual innovation and not only a drawing in your sketchbook, for that you need other people (communication is whole other set of skills you need to have than those you need to master to actually invent something worthy. Thus it's natural to want a supporting person who believes in your success, be it a wife or a friend or even a parent, other investors want to see a working prototype first)
