if I had a time machine I would save the neanderthals and make them live on south america, maybe the falklands/malvinas just to see what type of civilization they could come up with.
we may never know, maybe they would be abo levels of primitive or maybe they would have been on the same levels as native americans, perhaps they would be even more advanced than aztecs and incas.
