Chemistry major here, why is biochemistry so gay? I wish I could have a passion for it.

Organic chemistry is awesome, because you can make stuff, you make cool smells, you get to use badass glassware that looks like a meth lab, you can cosplay Heisenberg, you get to mix together awesome chemicals like a mad scientist.

Instrumental analysis is awesome cuz you get to use all these big machines that look like an airliner cockpit.

Physical chemistry, while very hard, is still awesome because you are learning deeply about matter.

Computational chemistry is awesome because you can make simulations of molecules moving around.

But biochemistry? I couldn't give a sh*t about boring gay sh*t like "gel electrophoresis" or "protein modifications" or "michealis menton equation" blah blah blah ughhh snooooooooze.... i hate this ****ing class, i miss organic chemistry, please, i just want to start mixing together awesome chemicals again

I am teaching a class on laboratory equipment commonly used in chem and bio labs. Specifically used in terrorist labs or labs that aided in terrorist attacks. post commonly used advanced level chem/ bio equipment. thanks!
