>excited for my first linear algebra lecture
>be first one to wait infront of the lecture hall
>other students arrive
>too shy to start a conversation
>pretend to do something on my phone
>finally a mid 40s guy with short gray hair, clean shaven face wearing a knitted sweater arrives
>says good morning and opens the door
>fast forward a few minutes
>lecture begins
>prof is really charismatic and smiles a lot during the lecture
>sit in the front row and write everything down
next day
>be again the first one to arrive
>this time the lecture hall is open
>sit down in the front row
>the prof comes in
>he smiles at me and says good morning
>he sits down at his desk and attempts to make smalltalk with me about the weather
>he constantly smiles at me during that
>I feel very uncomfortable
>suddenly he talks about how he is lonely since his wife left him recently
>I just sit there and nod feeling very uneasy
>another student arrives and he stops talking to me and works on his laptop
>fast forward to the lecture
>he talks about surjective and injective functions
then something strange happens
>he claims that every surjective function has a right inverse
>he proves it
>didn't even ask for our consent to use the axiom of choice in this course

I peed myself once in high school in AP chem. I really had to go and I was going to but class was ending and I was cleaning up and I went to wash my hands in the sink and I splashed some warm water on my pants.
It just kept getting warmer and warmer until I realized it wasn't just water staining my pants. I don't think anyone noticed but so I went to the bathroom since school was about to end and cried for several minutes.

How fucked am I? I am in the top 5 - 15 people in my class (depending on the subject) of around 160 people and I will still be discriminated against by employers. I bet some companies have algorithms to simply block my uni out, kek.

Any suggestions for a Computer Science monograph (undergraduate thesis)? Any area of cs really, but it would be nice working with Software Engineering, AI or Data Science.
It's my second time trying to write the thesis and I want a fresh start. The first one I've started writing but in the middle of it I couldn't find a single usable dataset, I couldn't grasp interdisciplinary subjects and ultimately I couldn't deal with the my own failure and lack of progress... and then I almost dropped college because i couldn't deal with the anxiety and the (highly likely) deppression that would make sure to remind me every single day how stupid I was for dropping the project among other stuff.
Also, this whole thing caused some sort of friction between me and my advisors which its my fault, because I've tried to do the whole thing alone then dropped it with little to no communication with them, but well it's mainly what brings me here.
