This has been bothering me for a while:

We all know that the faster you move through space relative to something else the slower time moves,

>On a ship leaving earth
>Travel very close to the speed of light
>Travel 20 light years away
>Round trip
>Age 40 years
>People on earth age significantly faster
>Your loved ones on earth die

Now this is true relative to the universe.

But now lets say there is nothing in the universe but you and earth.

Who will do the aging?

The people on earth or you in the ship?

You or earth...
