So, today I got myself some magnets (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251346196761).). What should I do with them, /sci/?

damn vectors what do they do? narh i know most stuff about them.

But i have this problem /sci/ nerds of the internet, that you might can help me with if you aint better stuff to do.

Im doing a shooting game and heres the deal i need to find out where a shot would end if it for example would stop after 9 (meters whatever) and have a degree of 254. im talking in coordinate system here thats what i need it when programming it. So consider it that you are shooting from 0,0 on a coordinate system, it would prob end in some thing that sounds like (-1,-7) something but thats not the point i wanna know how to figure it out.

So, /sci/, I might have an idea, but I'm not sure how far we can go with it. I think I MAY have figured out the basic concept of an invisibility suit. Key word definitely being may. Now consider the following. The suit is composed of two layers. The inner layer is composed of a large series of wires, mini-cameras, and projection equipment. The outer layer is some kind of see-through green-screen type of thing, but is only see-though from the inside, provided there is such a material. Now bare with me. Provided the screen has the capacity for 3d graphics, and whatever is seen through one side of the suit by the cameras is automatically projected on the other side of the suit by the green-screen-type thing with adjusted depth as necessary, this incredibly expensive suit could possibly provide real invisibility.

Also, if you think about it carefully, you wouldn't be able to go invisible when you're in front of a mirror.

I'll give you guys some time to ponder this; do you think this idea could lead to anything?

So how does a magnet work anyway? How does something emitting energy pull on something else. Does it have to do with the electrons' spin? Do energy waves circle around and push from the back or is it something like the curved spacetime caused by gravity?

move some powerful magnets close by the speakers. it tends to fuck up anything electrical.

also, there are positive 1's on each end, no matter how long the chain is, so it still only cancels out as +1, and not 0.
