Patent it, make the cure cheap as fuck to manufacture but still profitable though only alittle bit.
That way you get fucking rich anyway because a CURE for CANCER would be a fucking insane accomplishment.
Not to mention you would pretty much be guaranteed a nobel prize in atleast medicine if not more depending on how you developed such a cure so that's a good deal of money right there.
Then there would be historical recognition aswell as pretty much any job you wanted.

Making it expensive as fuck would only tarnish your long term reputation and making it free would probably get you labeled as a saint by some people but also would allow for megacorporations to usurp your cure with their own patents and derivatives of your cure.
