How come no one has tried the Biosphere experiment again?

Seems like it could be very useful for testing the viability of self-sustaining habitats, if performed by a corporation who isn't completely incompetent.

One: the ecosystem inside is incredibly diverse and prolific. There are tons of species of plants/animals/insects/fungi, all living under one glass roof in the desert. This was a huge win for being able to replicate ecosystems within a completely different area, and proves that with the right amount of sunlight/energy, humanity can replicate Earth biospheres on other planets.
