I'm not sure if this is the right board but I'll give it a shot. Well I'm an 18 year old Britfag that needs to decided on a degree soon. I hope to work in Hong Kong (as I speak Cantonese/learning Mandarin) and am considering Accounting or an Engineering degree of some sort (Mechanical or Electrical).

The thing is, my parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties are all saying that employment for both Engineering and Accounting are incredibly low. Those Asian fucks are pretty much forcing me to do Medicine or Pharmacy.

Could anyone clarify the employment thing for me? and is Accounting or Engineering any good to find work in Hong Kong?
