Serious question: did Tyson, Dawkins, Sagan, Kaku and the like actually contributed anything of value to science or are they just good communicators? I understand Dawkins came up with the selfish gene theory but not much after that? Tyson got rid of Pluto, which is not really a scientific achievement, while Sagan compiled some shit that got sent into space with Voyagers. I don't even know what Kaku does besides taking good care of his hair.

Tyson is the shit. Very provocative and knows how to get his point across.

He's not the next Carl Sagan. That's like saying there'll be another Zyzz, there can only be one.
