>There is no compelling explanation for why only left-handed neutrinos and right-handed antineutrinos should exist, and no right-handed neutrinos or left-handed antineutrinos. So there's at least one form of matter that probably exists that hasn't been detected yet. And perhaps fundamental particles aren't fundamental at all. The standard model is full of holes, after all. If there's an even smaller true fundamental particle, then there's no way to exhaustively know every possible kind of matter until the fundamental particle is identified.
