I really want to call attention to NASA's budget and I want to do it outside of the internet and at the local level. I'm just a college student but I have a lot of ambition and hope for our future and any suggestions would really be appreciated. I'm thinking about working with my local IMAX theater and aquarium that both have educational outreach programs for local citizens. my plan is to display simple visual aids that show just how tiny NASA's budget is in comparison to the federal budget. I feel like a large percentage of the American population is totally ignorant of just how tiny it is and would find it fairly shocking. if anything I don't want NASA to be first in line when spending cuts are made.
