I love science, and I know some of the smartest people work with the LHC, but for fucks sake they need to stop being so goddamn sure of themselves
and keep an open mind. All I ever see are fucking conceited, arrogant people who think they know the answers to the universe because they did a series of experiments. It's like they think they can determine the ultimate truth by figuring out whether one particle exists. I know how important the Higgs-Boson is, but Jesus Christ, people have been saying they figured out the reason for life since the beginning of time. The fact that everyone was so sure of the Standard Model up until now, and now our entire understanding of physics go go right out the window, and people STILL have the same closed-minded attitude, drives me fucking insane. All of my goddamn rage.
