Guys, I dun goof'd and didn't ask my teacher. We are doing Complex numbers (senior high school level), Loci of points. If you could please give me some pointers or anything.

The homework is:

Find all Loci of all points x.

The angle AXB is 60 degrees and segment AB is 5cm.

My guess is that I am looking for 2 inequalities that form a wedge.

Thanks guys

Hello, /sci/. I'm here to ask for advice and maybe some insight.

I'm currently an engineering student, however I'm doing shit-poor in my chemistry classes so far. However in my calculus classes I've done, and far exceeded, everyone else. My problem is conceptual things (I.E. Why does this work like this but not like this? Then when this happens it works again. Explain.) However I can do math fairly easily as it just comes to me. Should I just drop my engineering degree for something in the Physics/Mathematics range (assuming physics is not as concept based as mathematics, my highschool physics class years ago was mostly learning equations and I did well with that) or should I just keep pushing through with the chem I need and continue engineering.

Also, when people ask my why I want to be an engineer I just answer with "because I want to do math" normally causing them to say I'm the only person who they know who has ever said that.

TL;DR: Engineering student bad at concepts but good at math. Should I change major to something pure math?

<span class="math">-n^2=-n*-n
Right?

So why did I just get <span class="math">V=-n^2+8n-4 (solve for V if n=3)
wrong?

I answered 29.

It said <span class="math">-n^2=-9
, no parenthesis or anything.

Hey /sci/, my friend was telling me about how he learned all about Galileo's Tower of Pisa experiment, but he told me something I did not know was true. When Galileo dropped the wooden ball and the cannon ball, did he start it from a roll or did he release them over open air?
