So no doctor has any clue what's behind our skin? The surgeons just know what's physically there and have barely any idea how it works, while physicians or pharmacists know how it works but have no mental map of the nervous system? My ignorance of my own body, the very thing I have controlled, nay, have controlled ME for the past two decades, caused an existential crisis, and as I am drawing maps of nerve plexi, memorizing the functions of the organs and watching dozens of dissection videos every day, on cadavers and live people, I sense a euphoria I have never felt. All these millions of years of death and reproduction have created something more spectacular than we could ever achieve. I've even started flossing and being even more disciplined with my health because of my respect for the body
