>Superconductivity: The most well-known effect of strong electron-phonon coupling is superconductivity. The BCS theory (Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer theory) of superconductivity suggests that a large electron-phonon coupling could facilitate the formation of Cooper pairs – pairs of electrons with opposite momentum and spin that move coherently and enable superconductivity.
The whole Nikolay Bogolyubov theory is you don't need Cooper Pairs for Superconductor but Electron - Phonon interactions on lattice.
