I'm not referring to for-profit degree mills like UoP, I'm referring to legitimate and accredited universities like SNHU or George Mason.

I am teaching myself calculus. I am completely okay with derivatives.

The one thing I don't understand is how integrals and derivatives are inverses of each other.

How is the inverse of the instantaneous rate of change (what I've been taught a derivative is) the total accumulation of the area under the graph?

How does lim n->∞ Σ x^n dx = x^(n+1)/(n+1)
