Memory palace or room doesn't necessary have to be a room itself. I'm not too good with that technique but I have two things I like to use: Cooking and walking. If I have to remember a list of 5-10 things, I slowly build an image of me cooking all of them on a pan. Walking is much better for longer and more complex stuff. I'll just imagine a route I've taken often and start adding things like mathematical formulas into trees and trash cans along the way. Usually the first thing or word is the most important one that triggers the next one.

I suggest you first traing your mnemonics before going for something that difficult. And remeber your memory palace can be anything that works for you. General guidelines are: a place with no people, well lit place, place you can remember well like your home.

I'm actually really interested if you succeed in this. A lot of people give up with memory palace because they can't instantly remember everything they've ever seen in their life.
