We just start stacking supplies and people in space, build more sky hooks, build the orbital ring around Earth and now you can build and crew colony ships of thousands of people. Not all at once but say in 20-40 years the first colony ship might launch. Compare that to 2 niggers on the moon in the same time frame.

The Lagrange Point space station will also act as the main hub central station for all incoming and outgoing traffic from our local orbit. It's all very basic, logical, and efficient. An efficiency not rivaled by any other idea. Not by a long shot.
