Varg Vikernes, also known as Count Grishnackh, or Greven (Norwegian for 'The Count'). One of the central figures in the 90s Norwegian black metal scene. He was released last year after serving 15 years in prison for murder and four counts of arson. All four counts of arson were churches. He used a photograph of the remains of one of them (a really old wooden church) as a cover for one of his album.

It's quite an interesting history.

Varg is fucking nuts though.
