Took me a whole fucking day to grasp this concept, there are a few other details which I don't quite see, but will as this starts to sink in.

But essentially the faster you travel, the further time has to travel in relation to an observer. So you are essentially shifting to another frame of time the faster you travel at every fucking fraction of a second. But it doesn't fucking matter unless you have someone to observe you.

Anyways, all this easier to understand with visuals and my imagination turns to shit as the day goes by but after watching video after video I came across TLC's youtube video which basically explained it best to me.

So fucking simple to understand you'd think.

But yeah, long story short the faster you travel, the further the distance time has to travel essentially slowing it down.
