Listen buddy, also made the mistake of staring at people directly in the eyes all the time thinking that's what normies do but it isn't so simple.

My normie friend told me that It was intimidating if I do that and that one is supposed to blink from time to time and look briefly to some other place for a few seconds and then refocus your view on the eyes of the person who is talking. See? in that way you still engage with the other person in a civilized manner while not appearing overly aggresive.

Af first I had to count a couple of second before I was ready to blink but now after some practice with the nice lady in the grocery store I just do it naturally.
