And orchids are particularly sensitive, but if you treat them with great care, they thrive and are damn beautiful. I have one I brought back with me when I was doing research in the Iguazu reserve, and it hates my climate with the fire of a thousand suns, but I still manage to baby it into being alive and happy. So, I imagine you can do the same with a bioluminiscent plant, but I can see it taking a while before we can have a strudy bioluminiscent plant that basically takes care of itself, like a pine.
