Yea. And even consider doing it is a pretty good sign you're not very long from permanent braindamage to begin with.

I know it's a troll but I don't see how this would make any sense. It isn't really trolling when you just make yourself look stupid. (even thou I found the a freud-thing snappy)

Okey, why not let people have some fun facts they've learned from their studies, they can check out in their everyday life?

I go first; Sociology, and identity/power-relations.

You'll find that people who identity themselves in some way like "I like fine arts" or "I study science" will love one subject, pretty much hate something that is close enough to that subject for someone outside the "inner circle" to make a mistake about it being something you like, and feel totally okay with things that just have a few things in common.

Examples, if you like art movies, the statistics says you should hate films like Avatar and Titanic, but have no problem with zombie movies.

Jesus fucking Christ, I top scored all my tests and got highest grade in math back in high school, but now when I'm back after few years working, at a university, I just don't "get" this.

Someone explain standard deviation and variance in very, very simple terms, please.

IMO some general knowledge is useless as you can just google it if you ever need it.

Written with history class in mind.
General outline of history: interesting and usefull.
Detail of history: useless for most.

Also, some kid trying to impress his femfriend "Rain is wet because it consists of... HO2!"

I think it's like half a second or something. May be even more. There's several studies of it, but I can't remember the name on any of em.

Is it just me, or is it that the "harder" the science you're majoring in is, the more of a loser you are?

> pic kinda related, it's about science
