Hey guys, I just spent $300 on a 24 hour sat prep class spread over 8 weeks. It did not fucking help at all. Class was made for fucking tards in school. Its a bummer. Anyone have any tips or ways to score better? I am currently at the 1680 mark so just above average.

Hey /sci/ how should i prep for the SAT? I'm taking it for the 1st time in March. What method did you use and what was your score?

What are your thoughts on the SAT writing section /sci/? Is it a good or bad thing? fair or unfair?

I don't believe its fair as it puts a 2:1 emphasis on language arts over mathematics and some people are more apt for math and logic versus language and writing. If there was possibly a logic section along with the mat that would balance out the language section then I'd say the test would be fair but for now I don't agree with its current incarnation.

These damn SATs. I've done so many practice problems of math and reading, and even have learned a couple hundred words. Yet my score was only 1690, and I still feel as if I'm missing something. Reading kills me most.

SO I DARE ASK. Is there some sort of technique(s) to understanding the passage fully? I always have this hindsight over how I could've had the problems right from the answer key, but when I read a new passage I'm stumped again.

SAT Scores /sci/?
I got a 1210, I assume that's low for this board.
