Dude, life support is a complicated thing, the more people you carry, more complicated it becomes. Every person is breathing, eating, sweating, drinking, wants to wash himself, wants to piss and shit. If you design a ship for 100 of people, its going to be a nightmare to make a life support system for them. I know its HARD for you to understand because in the mocies like Star Wars they have ships with 10000 of people on board and they have artificial gravity and they never mention how they all survive in space in such numbers on ships, but in real world, you need to solve the life support problem, and its hard, really hard. So far Elon never even acknowledged it as a problem. Hell, we haven't even seen solar batteries latest design or the communication array on Starship, we don't know if it will have an antena to speak to Earth.
