Now of days I would say Quantum mechanics is more of a methodology, as opposed to a field. This is because as a field it is complete, just like classical mechanics.

Think of it like basic calculus or algebra, it is a series of methods/ideas that can be applied to particular system of interest.

The systems you apply quantum mech too are vast and numerous. I wouldn't consider these "fields" of quantum mechanics though, as I wouldn't consider anything I applied calculus to a "field of calculus".

You should do your report on the photoelectric effect. This is what Einstein actually got his nobel prize for. It is perhaps the first proof quantized physics...

Most of the "jesus mythology" is actully an amalgamation of more ancient tales. All the stories are actually from other characters way before him.

Stories of the virgin birth, resurection, etc, all come from other characters that predated jesus by hundreds if not thousadnd of years.

If you ever take a "history of christianity" or "history of religion" course, they will flat out tell you that most (if not all) modern religions are bullshit/folklore, it is historical fact.

On the remote chance that they are right, all it will do is slightly modify one term in the standard model lagrangian (and modify phenonology). It will also cause a lot more investigation into neutrinos, which we already have a hard time understanding.
